As part of Aesbus’ focus on corporate community involvement and being informed on local business initiatives, Aesbus participated in the Remarkable Women’s Conference held in Austin, Texas on June 6-8.
The conference provided a forum for women from all cross-sections of the community to network and attend sessions on topics such as business ownership, workplace, health, relationships, and family.
It was a great opportunity to make new contacts in the Austin business community and to hear current information on relevant topics. This year’s Keynote presentation at the conference was delivered by Patti Card Smith, president and general manager of KVUE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Austin.
The organization donates a portion of their profits to local women-centered charities, such as GenAustin — an Austin-based non-profit that trains high school girls as mentors to help middle school girls develop and maintain their self-esteem.
